- "NuWatt" refers to the NuWatt application, software platform, dashboards, databases, algorithms, analytics, and related services operated by A to Z Solar.
- If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
2. Scope of Services
- NuWatt is a software-based energy monitoring and analytics platform designed to help users understand and track energy systems.
- Services may include monitoring of energy and smart devices.
- Real-time and historical data visualization.
- Energy consumption and performance analytics.
- AI-based insights, alerts, and recommendations.
- NuWatt does not install, own, operate, repair, or physically control any energy system or device.
3. Smart Devices & Data Mirroring
- By connecting devices to NuWatt, users expressly authorize NuWatt to monitor data generated by connected devices.
- Collect, store, analyze, and display device data.
- Mirror data exactly as received from devices.
- NuWatt relies entirely on data provided by connected devices and does not modify or manipulate physical system behavior.
4. Monitoring-Only Role
- NuWatt acts strictly as a monitoring and analytics service.
- NuWatt is not a stakeholder in any site, system, or installation.
- NuWatt bears no responsibility for system operation or outcomes.
- All operational decisions remain solely with the user.
5. Accuracy of Insights
- All insights, alerts, health indicators, and recommendations are estimations, not guarantees.
- They are based on NuWatt's internal research and development.
- They depend on device data accuracy, availability, and assumptions.
- NuWatt does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any insight or recommendation.
6. No Guarantees on Performance
- NuWatt does not promise or guarantee improved energy output or efficiency.
- Cost savings or system optimization are not guaranteed.
- Prevention of failures or outages is not guaranteed.
- NuWatt's objective is continuous service improvement, not guaranteed results.
7. Account Registration
- Users must be 18 years or older.
- Users must provide accurate information.
- Users are responsible for securing their credentials.
- Account holders are responsible for all activity under their account.
8. Data Collection
- NuWatt may collect energy production and consumption data.
- Device performance metrics.
- Usage patterns and logs.
- Data is collected only where necessary to deliver and improve services.
9. Lawful Basis (GDPR)
- Data is processed based on performance of the service.
- Legitimate interest in energy optimization.
- User consent.
- Processing follows GDPR principles of fairness, transparency, and minimization.
10. Data Usage & Analytics
- Users retain ownership of personal data.
- By using NuWatt, users grant NuWatt a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to store and process system data.
- To calculate and represent metrics.
- To use anonymized and aggregated data to improve services.
- NuWatt does not sell personal data.
11. Historical Data
- NuWatt may store historical data to improve predictive accuracy.
- To enhance future insights.
- Anonymized historical data may be retained indefinitely for R&D purposes.
12. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure.
- NuWatt applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Data Sharing

- To protect NuWatt's legal rights.
- In anonymized or aggregated form.

- Users may access their data.

17. Availability
- NuWatt aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Outages may occur due to maintenance or external dependencies.
18. Fees & Payments

- Payments are non-refundable unless legally required.
- Non-payment may result in suspension of service.

- NuWatt does not provide engineering or electrical advice.
- Safety or regulatory certification is not provided.
- Financial or legal advice is not provided.
20. Limitation of Liability
- Services are provided "as is".
- Liability is limited to direct damages caused by gross negligence.
- NuWatt is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
21. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon.
- Disputes shall first be resolved amicably, then via arbitration under the Lebanese Arbitration Association.
22. Changes to Terms
- NuWatt may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
